Brown Earth products are natural based, taking their inspiration from nature. All ingredients are carefully selected to optimise and enhance performance.

Brown Earth specifically does not use the following ingredients in any of their products:

Ethoxylate Emulsifiers – These are emulsifiers that have been combined with Ethylene Oxide, which is a highly hazardous chemical.

Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) – The surfactant is used in many shampoos, bodywashes and foam baths. Known for its irritancy.

Parabens – Preservatives used widely across the personal care industry.

Cetrimonium Chloride – Used in many conditioners and conditioning shampoos. This ingredient is potentially damaging to the environment.

Paraffin Liquidum (Mineral Oil) – Petrochemical derivative

Petrolatum – Petroleum Jelly a petrochemical derivavtive

Silicones (Dimethicone and Cyclomethicone) – Synthetically produced

Butylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol- Common Emollients found in creams as they are very cheap.
