Brown Earth was founded in 2003 with the objectives to buy Grade A Shea Butter at fair prices and to formulate Shea Butter based skincare products for a worldwide audience.

 

Our product development approach means…

 

• Ingredients used in any of our products must be wherever possible sourced from a fairly traded source. We       actively work with various ethical groups and local communities to conserve natural resources and also actively supports indigenous and rural development projects.

• NEVER test products on animals, nor do we use ingredients from animal sources.

• Always considers the consumer and their needs above all else when developing Brown Earth products

• Develop Shea and Cocoa butter skincare products blended with natural herbs, essential oils, plants, salts, mineral, and flower essences.  

 

Many product awards later, this mindful product development concept means we have built a strong reputation for skincare products with unparalleled skin protection nourishing, moisturising, repairing, revitalizing, cleansing properties its all in the name …….BROWN EARTH.

 

Today Brown Earth has extended this wholesome ethical development concept to other cooperatives and craft communities struggling to bring non food & food products to a wider world market.
